  1. Among other bloggers, I’ve been ranting against Facebook for years and its DARPA connection – at the moment, mine reblogs and that’s it, not used socially.

    • Indeed. Clearly, we’re not getting through sufficiently, James. While there’s a general awareness of Facebook’s lack of respect (to put it mildly) of users’ privacy, still too many people take the view that nobody would be interested in their conversations. Perhaps what we need is a collection of real-world examples of how Joe Shmoe’s conversations are of great interest to big business.
